Chai Ocho is the Last Nominee
We now have all 10 nominees. Chai Ocho is our final nominee. He is an octopus, as you can see, and he has 8 arms. Actually, he is a very interesting Chai because each of his arms has their own personality. Arm #1 is very sweet and kind but arm #2 is kind of grumpy. Arm #7 is a little crazy and Arm #5 is a baby arm. It is very strange to be around Chai Ocho because all of his arms are always doing their own thing. But he is a good Chai.
Chai Butterfly is Nominee Number 9!
Chai Butterfly was talking to his friend, Chai GG the other day and Chai GG mentioned to him that you are scared of butterflies. Chai Butterfly said, "Oh no, how could that be??" Then he decided that he would enter the competition to come to Guadlajara. He says that if you spend some time with him you will see that he is nice and that he wouldn't hurt anyone! Plus he said if Papi has to get used to mice, then you should get used to butterflies. As you can see Chai Butterfly has beautiful blue wings that he is very proud of and, of course, he would love to fly all around Chai Town.
Our 8th nominee is one of the smartest Chais in the World --- Chai Intelligente. In fact, Chai Intelligente has an IQ of 212, which is very very high! He also has 3 college degrees, one in medicine, one in law and one in psychology. Not too bad! Chai Intelligente also speaks 11 languages including English, Spanish, Chai, Duck, Swahili, Japanese, Chinese and Robot. Oh, and Dirt...although it is not very useful to speak Dirt since dirt does not have too much to say.Anyway, Chai Intelligente hopes to come to Mexico to teach some of the other Chais and to practice his Spanish.
Chai Squeak is the 7th Nominee
Everyone knows how much Papi loves mice. So he was very excited to hear that the 7th nominee is, in fact, a mouse! It is Chai Squeak, one of the cutest mice in the world, who actually speaks in a language of all squeaks. He also likes to make friends with people who live in houses, like Papi, for instance.Maybe he will join you in your house soon!
Chai SoSoft is the Sixth Nominee
I have never given Chai SoSoft a hug but according to the Chai Information Bureau, Chai SoSoft is the world's softest Chai and the best hugger of all. In fact, many people actually fall asleep when hugging Chai SoSoft, that's how soft she is. Of course, she will have some competition if she comes to Guadalajara from some of the soft Chais like Chai Sleepy and Chai Hufflepuff.Four more Chais to go, I wonder who will be coming to Mexico?!
Chai Proud is an interesting Chai. For instance, did you know that she has 26 eyes. It's true. She has two eyes in her head and 24 more eyes in her feathers as you can see here in the picture. Also, she has 5 ears. Two ears in her head and three ears that stick up above her head. Chai Proud is proud of her feathers, like most peacocks. But she is not presumida like Chai Presumida, instead she is humble and proud. But she is a bit presumida about the Chais. She is always talking about how great the Chais are, how Chaitown is the best city in the world, how the Chaiers are going to win the World Series in baseball and on and on... She is hoping to run for mayor after Chai Peso and Chai Curious are done serving as mayors.
Chai Tail is the 4th Nominee!
The next nominee for the Chai to Come to Guadalajara is Chai Tail. He is a baby Chai but he is interesting since he has a very long tail. The tail actually is more than just an ordinary tail. It is actually very wise. For instance, if you are not sure if there is something you should do, you can go and ask the tail for advice. For instance, you can say, "Chai Tail's Tail, do you think I should take that trip to Paris?" and it will say, "Yes you will have a great time" or "No, your plane will crash in the ocean." It is a very useful tail as you can see!
Another Chai is Nominated!
Some Chais have been worried about the security of Chaitown. What if Chaitown was attacked by enemies?! Well, if you are worried about that then Chai Tough is a good choice for the next Chai. You can tell just by looking at him that he is a very tough Chai. But the truth is that he is very kind and sweet. But if enemies were to attack Chaitown, he would be a good Chai to have on your side!
Chai Tough has two brothers who are also oxes and are also tough. On the left is Chai Rough and on the right is Chai Gruff. These are scary-looking Chais! But don't worry if you meet them, they are the sweetest and kindest Chais you will ever meet. Maybe you will meet one of them soon!
The Second Chai is Chai Thanksgiving
Some of the Chais have noticed that there aren't too many birds in Chai Town. In fact, there are no birds at all. If Chai Thanksgiving is chosen he will be the first bird to live in Chai Town. Chai Thanksgiving is a vegetarian advocate. That means he gives speeches all over the USA to tell people to stop eating turkey and to start eating carrots instead. He has invented the "Salad Only Thanksgiving" dinner and is fighting for turkeys all over the nation!He makes a funny sound too!
First Chai Nominee Announced for the August Trip!
The first chai nominee has been announced and it is Chai Make-Believe. She is a very strange Chai. Obviously everyone knows that unicorns do not exist. And Chai Make-Believe says she does not exist and yet, here she is. It's a strange world. Anyway, even though she does not exist, she wants to come to Guadalajara so she cannot exist with you and the other Chais. Maybe she is just a dream or maybe she is a just a wish but she is real, even though she is make-believe! Don't ask, it's weird. Here's a picture of Chai Make-Believe in her non existence.
A Big Decision for the Presidents of Chaitown!
This week Chai Frio has proposed a new idea to the Presidents of Chaitown. It is called "Chaitown North." Chai Frio thinks we should build a new town called Chaitown North and that it should be located in Boston! We asked him why he thought this was a good idea. He said, "I love living in Chaitown but I am worried that some Chais might find it too hot there and Chais from the North Pole or South Pole won't come to Chaitown." "Also, soon there will be a new rule that only one Chai can come to Chaitown. So we could have other Chais move to Chaitown North that way they can keep Papi company and we can get more Chais! And more Chais are always a good thing!"Chai Frio already has the support of Chai Curious, who wants to build new buildings for Chaitown North and also from Chai Triste. We asked Chai Triste, how would you feel if only Chai could come each trip? He said, "Sad."
But some Chais say that there should only be one Chaitown because it is more special that way. For instance, Chai Peso said that Chaitown is the most special place on Earth and it can't be duplicated. Also, he said that a Chaitown with Chai $ would be pointless. To which Chai $ said, "Thanks Honey Bunny...wait, are you a bunny or a bear?"
Chai 9 said that he thinks there should be a second Chaitown but that we should build it on Mars. "We are discriminating against Martian Chais!" he said. When we pointed out that there are no Martian Chais, he said, "That's what you think!"
Anyway, Papi and his boss, Addie Luna have a difficult decision to make about Chai Frio's new idea about Chaitown North in Boston!
It was announced today that Chai Amor is on his way to Boston. He hopes to be here within two weeks at the very latest so he can say hi to you and to Chai GG on Skype. Chai GG is very excited. Some of the Chais are a little surprised at the age difference between them. Chai GG is 103 years older than Chai Amor. But it is true love! Chai Amor says he has a very special present that he is going to bring to Chai GG in his mouth but no one can figure out what it is. He said that it is red with a green stem so everyone figures it must be an apple.Chai Amor also is hoping to help the Chais with some romance. Chai Einstein is looking for a very smart Chai to marry and Chai Amor had the idea that Chai Presumida might be a good match. What do you think?
The Last Chai Nominee is Announced!
The 10th and final Chai to be announced is actually two chais! It is Chai Oink and her son Chai Boink. Chai Oink is the mom and Chai Boink is the son. Chai Boink always rides on his mom's head, as seen below.
These two Chais really wanted to come to Guadalajara, so they looked for a girl named "Addie Luna." Unfortunately, they made a slight mistake and found a girl named Maddie Altoona, who lives in Florida... They showed up at her house and she really liked them but they had to explain that they are Chais and that they were looking for Chaitown. Here's a picture of these two chais with Maddie Altoona.
Chai Oink got a nice goodbye hug from Maddie Altoona and now they are living in Georgia and hoping they are picked to come to Mexico. Obviously, they are very cute Chais! One really cute thing about them is whatever Chai Oink says, Chai Boink likes to repeat. So if Chai Oink says, "time to go," Chai Boink will usually repeat in a higher voice, "You know, it's time to go!"
Chai Nominee Number 9 is Announced!
Well you have probably heard of the famous Chai named Bunny Duck. And I bet you've heard of another famous Chai named Duck Bunny. Well, the 9th Chai nominee is the mom of both of those Chais and her name is Chai Duck Duck. She is married to another Chai named Chai Bunny Bunny. Chai Duck Duck is an interesting Chai because she only speaks Duck. The main word used in the language of Duck, as you probably know, is "quack." So mostly when she speaks it sounds like "Qu..quack quack quackquack Quacking quacked quack quackkk QUACK!" and that kind of thing. I know both Duck Bunny and Bunny Duck are hoping Chai Duck Duck is chosen. But you have a very tough decision to make! And we still have one more nominee...
The 8th Chai Nominee is Announced!
The 8th Chai is named Chai Knows. He actually has that name for two reasons. For one thing, he knows a lot of things. For instance, if you lost your sunglasses, Chai Knows you usually knows where they are. Or if you are wondering if people will like your red socks or your blue socks better, just ask Chai Knows, since he will know.Of course, he is also named Chai Knows because he has a pretty large nose. In fact, it is his nose which helps him know things. Know what I mean? No?
He is a good Chai and we will see if he is picked as one of the three Chais and if he is the one who comes to Guadalajara using Presumida's potion...
Chai Presumida Invents a New Potion!
The Amazing Chai Presumida has invented an incredible new potion! What a genius he is! This potion can actually transport Chais to Guadalajara. One of the Chais will not arrive on a plane, instead he or she will be chosen to transport magically to Guadalajara using the potion that Presumida invented. Here is how the potion is made:-----
2 pumps of liquid soap
1 half tablespoon of ketchup
2 strands of Papi's hair
1 strand of Addie Luna's hair
1 hair from Chai Tea
1 drop of cooking oil
5 drops of green mouthwash
2 drops of Saliva from someone born in California
1/4 cup of water
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of Coca-Cola
It is not an easy potion to make but it will be important to make it, in order to bring one Chai! We will have to see who is chosen to be that Chai.

Chai Narrisota is the 7th Chai Nominee!
The 7th Chai nominee is Chai Narrisota. As you can see, he is an alligator with a very long nose. Some alligators like to bite people but Chai Narrisota is a very nice Chai. He likes to rub his nose with your nose to show he is a good friend.
That nose is very long and very heavy though. Sometimes it is hard for him to hold up his nose and he has to lay down and give his nose a rest.
But he is also proud of his nose. As you can see here, he likes to show off how long his nose is. It is actually even bigger than the rest of his body!
Chai Baby is the 6th Chai Nominee!
The 6th nominee is Chai Baby. He is a very cute chai, as you can see. He is actually only 8 months long as he doesn't talk too much. Mainly he can only say the words "milk," "Chai," and "bay blee" which is short for Baby Bee. But he does like to crawl around, and rock back and forth.
Here we see him rocking back and forth which is what he does most of the day because, after all, babies don't do very much. Sometimes he cries if he is upset about something. It would be interesting to have a baby among the Chais!
Chai Einstein is the 3rd Chai Nominee
The Chais are excited that one of the smartest Chais in history is the 3rd Chai Nominee. Yes, it is Chai Einstein, who is named after Albert Einstein, the famous scientist. You can see a picture of him below. He is very intelligent. In fact, he probably is the sharpest pencil in the pencil box. For instance, he can speak English, Chai, Spanish but also Chinese, Japanese, Egyptian, Russian, Mouse and Venutian (which is what they speak on Venus). He is also a very good mathematician. For instance, you can ask him any question like what is 4,384,233 + 234,408,422 and he will tell you it's 238,792,655. Sometimes, easier things cause him problems though. Like he doesn't know how to tie his shoes or boil a pot of water. Strange for such a smart Chai!
Chais are Flipping Out for FlipaZoos!
Chai Peso announced today to the citizens of Chaitown that the order of the FlipaZoos has been made. The Flipazoos are on their way to Boston! Papi purchased 14 total FlipaZoos plus 2 blind bags and they should arrive some time in February! The Chais are excited to get the FlipaZoos because they will be their Kconicitings. We interviewed some Chais and asked them what kind of Flipazoo they want to be their Kconiciting...
For instance, Chai Professional is hoping for "an elephant that turns into a cat!" (you probably guessed that).
Chai Bunny Duck wants a "bunny that turns into a duck."
Chai Duck Bunny wants a "duck that turns into a bunny."
Chai Triste wants a "Dog that turns into nothing because that would be very sad."
Chai Sweet as a Rose says whatever she gets, she would be "happy to give to another Chai that doesn't have one" (she's so sweet)
Chai Surprise says he just "wants to be surprised!"
Chai 9 says he wants a lawnmower that turns into a french fry.
The Chai Orguillosa Mystery is Solved!
For weeks, Chais all over the world have been asking the same question: Where is Chai Orguillosa?? After all, Chai O was supposed to come to Guadalajara to live in Chaitown but instead she sent her famous sister, Chai Presumida to pretend to be her. It was all part of Chai Surprise's big surprise.But where was Chai O?? Now, it is official----she has been sighted! She is in Puerta Vallarta chasing the feet of Chai BunnyDuck. This is surprising news. If you remember, Chai BunnyDuck's feet ran away from Bunny Duck back in August. Chai O, thought she would be the perfect Chai to find them. After all, she was the one who invented wind-up feet back in the 1950s. The first wind-up feet she invented can be seen in the picture below on a bunny she named "One Ear."
Chai O tracked Bunny Duck's feet to Puerta Vallarta but has been unable to get the feet to come back to Guadalajara. The feet said, "We like it here, there is a beautiful beach, lovely sunsets and we can foot massages whenever we want." But Chai O is determined to bring the feet back to poor BunnyDuck. "We will get those feet one way or another," she said. "Even have we need to capture the feet inside of some shoes."
BunnyDuck's feet were spotted on this beach. But they are so small, Chai Org is having trouble finding them. Plus they run fast, you know.
Chai O invented this bunny named One Ear back in 1953. They had the first wind-up feet.
Well the second Chai has been announced. The first Chai was Chai Cool but he will have a lot of competition from this baseball playing Chai, Chai Sox. Chai Sox is an amazing pitcher and hitter and would help the Chaiers in their run to try to win the Chai Series and be the best baseball team. He even has an official Red Sox hat.Chai Sox says that he hopes he is picked to come to Guadalajara because the weather is warm so you can play baseball all year round!
Chai Surprise Has a Big Surprise!
Well as you probably already know, Chai Surprise really likes surprises. But he had a big one for me yesterday. He showed up at my door and he wants to come to Guadalajara. I was very happy to see him and I welcomed him and gave him a surprise drink (he doesn't like to know what he's drinking until he is drinking it). But I explained to him that we have a system where you vote for the Chais that you want to come to Mexico --- and that you already voted.That made Chai Surprise a little sad. So he wants to talk to you tonight so he can ask you if he would maybe allowed to come to Mexico on December 26.
He will be calling tonight.

Chai Triste on His Way to Boston!
We finally found the money to pay for Chai Triste's plane ticket! Here is a picture we took of Triste as he was getting on the plane this morning. He is almost happy. Because he is excited to come to Boston to meet me and Chai Orguillosa and then to go to Guadalajara!
He was triste to say goodbye to his friends. Here are pictures of his three best friends: Chai Depressed, Chai Melancholy and Chai Not Too Happy. They are good Chais and maybe some day they will be chosen to move to Mexico too!
Bunny Duck Will Have Surgery!
Did you know that Bunny Duck needs to have surgery to attach some new feet? Yes, she is having a lot of pain walking on her "no-legs." And she has to take a lot of aspirin. So she needs some new feet to be attached! Luckily, Chai Orguillosa is an excellent surgeon. You know Orgulliosa has many talents. She conducts symphonies and she invented a flying car and she knows how to fix nuclear rockets. But she is also a surgeon! As you can see from the picture below she is an excellent surgeon and is ready to attach Bunny Duck's feet! In fact, one time Dr. O was able to replace a man's heart while standing on her head and drinking chocolate milk, all at the same time!Anyway, do you think you can look for some new feet that Dr. O can attach when she gets to Guadalajara? And also can you build an operating room so she can perform the surgery? Thanks!
Chai Frio Has Brothers and Sisters
Did you know that Chai Frio has a lot of brothers and sisters? It's true. Chai Frio is the penguin who is coming to live in Chai Town very soon. We thought he was an only child but no, he has a lot of brothers and sisters.

Well it's too bad they can't all come to live in Chai Town. Also, Chai Frio went to the doctor the other day and he got some bad news. The doctor said it may not be safe for Chai Frio to live in Guadalajara!! It's too hot there, the doctor said. So, Chai Peso proposed perhaps building an igloo. Chai Orguillosa says that she once built an igloo without any snow and while sleeping, so perhaps she can do it. But Chai Frio needs an igloo when he gets off the plane, right away. Or maybe he can live in your refrigerator. What do you think?
Bunny Duck's Feet Have Run Away!
Chai Town is shocked to have learned that Bunny Duck's feet have decided to run away. We talked with the feet to see what is going on. "We just feel like Bunny Duck does not pay attention to us," the feet said. "She is always leaving us all over Chaitown. Last week she left us in the bathroom! At night, she takes us off and then forgets to put us back on in the morning." We asked the feet if they had plans but they could not agree. One foot said he would like to move to England to become a shoe model but the other foot wants to become a great Brazilian soccer star...
Chai Bunny Duck is said to be looking for some new feet. She is picking between some of the feet you see in the picture below. Which feet do you think she should choose?!
Chai 9's Animal Reversal Factory is Working
There is big news today from Chai 9. He has gotten his animal reversal factory to work. As you can see from the pictures below, Chai 9's system for taking beef and turning it back into cows and taking chicken and turning it back into chicken is working well! In fact, you can see in this picture how Chai 9 has taken some beef from the grocery store and it turned it into a cow named Frank. He also took a package of Chicken from Soriana and turned it into a chicken named Chick-Chick. Incredible! Chai 9 is hoping he will be able to build the factory soon he just needs a location for it! Maybe you can talk to Chai Curious to see a good place to build it?

Guess what?! Papi is coming in just 16 days. And the Chais have big plans for when he gets to Guadalajara. Today the Chai mayors decided that there will be the first ever Chai movie and filming for the movie will begin when Papi gets there. The movie will be written by Papi and Addie Luna and will include many great actors including Chai $, Chai Boston as a tough guy, Bunny Duck and Duck Bunny as funny characters and Chai 9 as a crazy character (he won't need to do much acting!). Also Addie Luna and Papi will be in the movie and possibly Emi too. Emi will play a character who either speaks Spanish or Chinese, the Chais have not yet decided. There will be other Chais too but we are not sure who they will be yet. Also we are not sure what the movie is about but Chai GG says there will be a witch in the movie and that she is playing the witch. Chai Soy Sauce says that he is going to play the role of Coca-Cola which will be very difficult for sure.
Everyone is excited about the first Chai movie and many Chais are hoping that they will get to see the movie on its first night. Tickets with cost 7 dollars. What do you think the movie should be about?

Something needs to be done about Chai T! He is becoming a stricter jefe every day. Just this past month, he fired 26 workers from the TelltheDog company. Can you believe that? Below you can see a picture of all the workers he fired. They look like nice pelu...uh...they look like nice animals but Chai Tea said each one should be fired. Do you see that cute yellow duck in the front row? He was fired because he went for a drink of water during work. And you see that elephant? He was fired because he was flossing his teeth after lunch. That bird with the long beak on the left was fired because Chai T said, "Your beak is too long to work at the TelltheDog Company." And that cute bear at the top on the right was fired for wearing a shirt with too many lines on it.
Here are some of the other reasons:

Chai 9 Has New Plan for Meat Reversal Factory

Today in Chaitown, co-mayor Chai 9, has announced a new plan to build a Meat Reversal Factory. What is a meat reversal plant? That's a good question. Well we asked Chai 9 and he said, "Well, you know that it is very sad about how people eat meat. They take animals and make them into meat. But if we build a Meat Reversal Factory we can take sausages and turn the back into pigs! We can take chicken and turn them back into chickens. We can take hot dogs and turn them back into puppies!"
Chai 9 says that the factory will be very expensive but it is worth it because of the poor animals. When we asked him if we knew how to make a factory like that he said, "Oh sure, it's not a big deal, you just need a lot of glue and tape." A picture of what he says it will look like is below.
